Andrew Johnson is a 25-year-old oil painter from San Diego. He graduated from Santa Clara University with a BA in Studio Arts while being honored with the ‘Best in Show’ award for his Capstone project. In an effort to further his education he is pursuing an MFA in pictorial art at SJSU, hoping to one day teach at the collegiate level. 

Andrew’s art practice largely revolves around portraiture, combining both traditional and contemporary techniques to employ the human form as a vehicle for narrative painting.
